University Project and Submission for Creative Collective for their theme of Spectra.
"Everyday" captures the everyday moments of my life. I opted to submit photography that displays my regular experiences while also highlighting the variety of colours I see on a daily basis using the theme of Spectra. Because we all come from diverse backgrounds, this work gives me the opportunity to present who I am to others while also allowing me to reflect on myself. As the year progresses and our schedules become more hectic, I find myself becoming more overwhelmed and exhausted, which is why I try to arrange a time for activities that allow me to unwind. So, with this project, I was able to creatively express these activities and put them in an order that depicts a vast array of colours I see every day but never noticed before. It goes to show that the most valuable treasure I'd find at the end of the rainbow is a renewed appreciation for the simple things in life.
