This project was produced for my GBDA 201 class (Digital Media Project 1) where we were instructed to create an engaging documentary about anything we wanted. My group and I wanted to create something that was popular among our demographic and something we could relate to, which is why we decided on the topic of how Tiktok has affected the fashion industry. As Tiktok has increased in popularity, it has brought back many iconic fashion trends, introduced new ones and while some may embrace this, others find that it is ruining certain fashion cultures.
My primary role was being the main editor which meant that I made a majority of the edits for the final video as well as created a variety of visual graphics. However, I wasn't only limited to editing as I also took part in camera and audio operations throughout the whole process.

I created animated collages for some of the fashion trends mentioned in the documentary. When starting this process, I had struggled because this was my first time using InDesign to create animations. However after I practiced and watched many tutorials, I was able to master the craft and was able to quickly create moving picture animations like the ones you see below. It was a great asset to add to the documentary because it gives a visual descriptor for audiences who are not familiar with the fashion trends mentioned.
